I've been on a diet for the past five and a half months (watching fat mostly because that's my weakness). So far, I've lost 55 lbs. and I'm only 30 lbs away from my goal.
Here are the stats:
Current Weight: 165 lb
Highest Weight: 220 lb
Lowest Weight: 170 lbs (before starting this diet)
Goal Weight: 135 lbs
I exercise 7 days a week for 30 to 60 minutes and I do weights/yoga/pilates once every 2 or 3 days.
Ok...here are my questions...
Has anyone else noticed that after being on a diet for a certain period of time, you start to have negative reactions to certain foods? I'm not a vegetarian; I eat red meat; just not as much. However the last two nights I've had it, I've gotten sick. I know the meat wasn't contaminated, cause the rest of my family felt fine. Has anyone else has this issue with red meat or any other food?
The second question is what do you guys use/take for muscle strains. I do vigorously walking as cardio and I recently tried doing walk/jog (walk a block, jog a block). I think it was too much cause my legs have been sore for days. I went walking yesterday and I think it just made it worse. So I'll skip it today (and tomorrow...only if I have to...I hate missing a workout). Its not bad to the point where its bruising or swelling; it just hurts. I just want some relief from the pain. I use to take Alieve, but someone told me that pill can discourage muscle growth (dunno if that's true) What do you guys use?
